gaffitter software package provides File subsets extractor based on genetic algorithms, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gaffitter
gaffitter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gaffitter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gaffitter *
You will get with gaffitter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
